How to make fluffy pancakes without baking soda and baking powder: a simple recipe
Pancakes are a simple dough dish based on flour, milk or kefir, and baking soda. But you can make them in other ways, not necessarily from wheat flour, it can be replaced with rice, corn, bran, or just fruit. For the dish to have a pleasant taste, do not add a lot of soda, as it can give a strong aftertaste.
Nutritionist and cook Roksolana (roksolana.harasymiv) shared a recipe for delicious banana pancakes on Instagram, which are simple and quick to prepare.
Ingredients:
- bananas – 2 pcs
- eggs – 2 pcs
- flour – 5-6 tbsp (it is more useful to combine whole wheat with wheat in a ratio of 50/50 or 80/20)
Method of preparation:
1. Mash the bananas with a fork, add the egg, and mix.
2. Add the flour and mix.
3. Heat a frying pan or waffle iron, put the batter, and fry the pancakes.
Serve hot with jam, condensed milk or sour cream, honey, and berries!
