How to make fluffy pancakes on water: we share the secret of a successful dough
Pancakes are an ideal breakfast dish that can be made with milk, kefir, or even water. But to make them tall and fluffy, add baking powder or yeast to the flour.
Cook Olha Holovina shared on Instagram a recipe for successful, tasty and fluffy pancakes on water, which are very easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
- live yeast - 25 g
- warm water - 500 ml
- flour - 540 g
- sugar - 2 tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp.
- oil - 2 tbsp. l. + for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm but not hot water, mix well.
2. Leave the mixture in a warm place for 15-20 minutes.
3. Then add salt and oil, mix with a whisk until smooth.
4. Sift the flour in and mix the dough with a whisk to make it look like thick sour cream.
5. Fry the pancakes and serve with sour cream, berries or condensed milk.
