Every housewife knows how to make homemade pancakes. But, very often they do not turn out fluffy, and sometimes burn. To make them successful, you need to prepare the dough correctly.
The chef shared a recipe and tips on how to cook pancakes to make them fluffy on Instagram.
Tips:
– Be sure to sift the flour;
– Add no more than 1 egg to the base;
– Do not add too much sugar to prevent pancakes from burning;
– Be sure to add baking soda to the kefir;
– The best base for the dough is warm kefir;
Ingredients:
- 250 ml of room temperature kefir
- 1 egg
- a pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp. of sugar (more if desired)
- vanilla sugar
- 240 g of flour
- half a teaspoon of baking soda
Method of preparation:
1. Add the baking soda to the kefir, and wait until they react.
2. Beat the egg with sugar and salt, add the kefir and baking soda to the egg mixture, and mix.
3. Sift the flour into the dough and mix until smooth, leave the dough for 15 minutes.
4. Fry the pancakes over medium heat in a frying pan with oil (you can do it without, but they won't be as brown). Turn the pancakes over to the other side, fry for 1-2 minutes, then reduce the gas and cover for 2 minutes, so they won't be raw.
