How to make crispy crullers: recipe for yeast-free dough with sour cream
Crullers are a special kind of cookie that is fried in a large amount of oil or baked in the oven. The dough for the dessert is made with sour cream, kefir, or water without yeast. The product is crispy on the outside but very airy and fluffy on the inside.
The recipe for baked crullers with sour cream was shared by food blogger Iryna (iryna_a) on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- flour - 200 g
- powdered sugar - 1 tbsp
- frozen butter - 35 g
- egg yolks - 2 pcs
- sour cream - 4 tbsp
- salt - a pinch
- powdered sugar for sprinkling
Method of preparation:
1. Sift the flour and powdered sugar and add salt.
2. Grate the frozen butter and grind it with flour into crumbs with your hands.
3. Add the egg yolks and mix. Add sour cream and knead the dough. Knead for 1-2 minutes so that the dough does not heat up from your hands.
4. Divide the dough into 4 pieces, roll each one thinly, cut into rectangles and form into crullers. Place on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
5. Bake at 180 C for 10 minutes.
