Cream cheese is added to almost all spreads, appetizers, as well as desserts. It is worth noting that it can be prepared at home from simple kefir.

FoodOboz editors share a recipe for a very tasty homemade cream cheese from frozen kefir.

Ingredients:

  • Kefir 1 liter
  • Salt, herbs, garlic at will

Method of preparation:

1. Freeze the kefir, then cut the package and transfer to a sieve, leave until completely thawed and all the whey runs off.

2. Transfer the ready mixture to a bowl, add spices, you can fresh herbs, sun-dried tomatoes, mix and you can eat.

Serve with croutons!
