Bread is one of the most popular foods that almost everyone eats. It can be made at home with a minimum amount of ingredients and even without flour, and there are many types of bread and bread alternatives, such as pancakes, pizza, pies, dumplings, zrazy, dumplings, as well as rolls and pies.

Food expert Svitlana Levytska shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious and easy-to-make bread called ciabatta, which is perfect for sandwiches.

1. The secret to the big holes in ciabatta is "strong" flour with a protein content of about 12 grams and a special type of folding and proofing.

2. This bread is not difficult to make, but it is just time-consuming. If you have the opportunity and inspiration to go out and make the dough regularly, you can start.

Ingredients:

  • Flour - 425 g

  • Water at room temperature - 325 ml
  • Yeast - 10 g (dry - 3 g)

  • Oil - 40 ml

Method of preparation:

1. Pour water into a bowl, add the yeast, mix thoroughly, add salt, oil and flour, mix well. The dough should be sticky and liquid.

2. Grease a second bowl with oil, put the dough in it, and cover with cling film or a bowl for 30 minutes to let it rise.

3. Then, with a damp hand, turn it on 4 sides and set it aside again for 30 minutes to rise, it is important to do this 4 times.

4. After that, make a ball out of the finished dough and leave it to rise again for 2 hours.

5. Flour a work surface, put the dough out, and divide it into two parts.

6. Shape two loaves of bread with your hands, one long for cooking in the oven and one round for cooking in a pan. After that, let them stand for another 20 minutes and then bake them.

7. Put one loaf of bread on a baking sheet and place in the oven for 10 minutes at 220°C.

The first 10 minutes with a water dome. Then remove it and cook for another 15-20 minutes. Be guided by the color.

8. Put the second bread in a frying pan and cook for 10 minutes under a lid over very low heat on one side, then for another 15 minutes on the other.
