How to make a real burger at home: secrets from a food blogger
A burger is a type of sandwich based on a fried cutlet and a flavorful bun. A great addition to the dish will be pickled cucumber, lettuce, sauces, onions, and cheese. The most important thing is to cook a delicious cutlet from quality meat, as well as make a good dough for the bun or buy it, but of excellent quality.
Food blogger Irina Maksimova shared a recipe for a delicious burger on Instagram, with a juicy cutlet and a flavorful bun.
Ingredients:
For the bun:
- flour - 250 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- milk - 85 g
- yeast - 4 g
- sugar - 40 g
- butter - 35 g
- salt - a pinch
- soda - 2 g
- lemon juice
Cutlets:
- minced meat (any) - 500 g
Vegetables:
- tomatoes - 300 g
- cream cheese - 2-4 tbsp
- lettuce leaves - 50 g
- greens - to taste
Sauce:
- cottage cheese - 150 g
- cream - 50 g
- garlic - 1-2 cloves.
- gherkins - 50 g
- any greens - a bunch
Method of preparation:
1. Sift the flour, add sugar, salt, yeast, and mix.
2. Heat the milk and add it to the flour along with the egg and melted butter.
3. Be sure to add the baking soda, quenched with lemon juice.
4 . Knead the dough well, gather it into a ball, cover it with a napkin, and let it rise for about 1.5-2 hours.
5. Divide the finished dough, make balls out of it, put it in a mold or baking sheet, brush it with egg yolk for a beautiful color, and put it in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 180 degrees.
6. Cutlet: mix the minced meat with spices, "beat" it well, and shape it with a pastry ring. Put in the refrigerator for 1 hour, then fry.
7. Sauce: chop gherkins, herbs, and garlic, add cheese, and cream, and mix well.
8. Wash and chop the vegetables.
9. Assemble the burger: cut the bun, spread the sauce generously, then lettuce, vegetables, cutlet, sauce, vegetables, lettuce, and bun.
