How to make a honey cake correctly and quickly: tips and recipe from an expert

Food blogger Anastasia Solopiyka shared a simple recipe for a delicious honey cake on her Instagram, which will be a great addition to tea and coffee.
Ingredients:
- honey - 100 g
- butter - 100 g
- sugar - 50 g
- flour - 450 g
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- baking soda - 1 tsp.
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp.
- salt - a pinch
For the cream:
- fat sour cream - 350 g
- boiled condensed milk - 350 g
Method of preparation:
- Put a bowl in a water bath in which to brew the dough so that the bottom touches the water.
- Add honey, sugar, spices, baking soda, salt, and eggs, stirring constantly, and brew the mixture for 5-7 minutes until the sugar and honey crystals dissolve (the mixture will foam).
- Add the diced butter and stir to melt. Remove from the heat.
- Sift the flour, knead the dough, and divide into 6 balls.
- Roll out a ball on parchment paper, and cut out the desired diameter with a baking dish or plate.
- Pierce the cake with a fork, and put it in the oven with the scraps for 4 minutes at 200 C.
- Cream: mix the condensed milk with sour cream.
- Afterward, brush the cakes generously with the cream and refrigerate for an hour.
- Grease the top and sides well.
- Use the leftovers to make a sprinkle for the cake, but you can also decorate with something else to your liking.
