How to make a delicious sprat spread: an alternative to liver paste
If you want to make some other tasty, delicate, and budget-friendly pate besides liver, sprat pate is a great alternative. Butter and melted cheese make the appetizer especially tender and boiled eggs make it full.
Food blogger Nataliia Parkhomenko shared a recipe for sprat pate on her YouTube channel Natasha Parkhomenko.
Ingredients:
- sprats in oil – 1 b
- boiled egg – 1 pc
- processed cheese – 100 g
- butter – 50 g
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the egg hard-boiled. The oil should be at room temperature.
2. Cut the cottage cheese, egg, and add sprats and butter into a blender bowl. Blend until smooth. You can also grind the ingredients in a meat grinder.
3. Add salt and pepper to the mixture. Stir to combine.
