How to make a biscuit with peaches in 20 minutes: dough recipe without eggs and yeast

Galette is perhaps the easiest cake to make. Without any hassle with the dough and in just a few minutes, you will get a very flavorful dessert with a juicy filling that just melts in your mouth. For a seasonal version, you can use peaches for the filling.

Popular pastry chef Liliia Tsvit shared a recipe for a galette with peaches on her YouTube channel. (To watch the video, scroll to the end of the news story).

Ingredients:

  • flour – 200 g 
  • butter – 100 g
  • salt – a pinch
  • sugar – 1 tbsp
  • cold water – 4 tbsp

Ingredients:

  • starch – 1 tbsp
  • sugar – 1 tbsp
  • peaches – 2 pcs

Method of preparation:

1. Add salt, sugar, and cold chopped butter to the flour. Grind the mass to a state of crumbs.

2. Add water to the mass. Knead the dough. You do not need to knead for a long time.

3. For the filling, cut the peaches into slices.

4. Roll out the finished dough in a circle on the parchment on which you will bake.

5. Sprinkle the center of the dough with starch and sugar, if desired.

6. Put the peaches in.

7. Wrap the sides of the biscuit to the center. Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
