  • cottage cheese - 400 g (9% fat content)
  • egg - 1 pc.
  • flour - 3 tbsp (for breading)
  • sugar - 3 tbsp. (if you do not want them to be too sweet, add 2 tbsp)
  • sunflower oil - 2 tbsp (for frying)
  • butter - 20 g (for frying)
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • vanilla sugar - 10 g

1. First, using gauze, strain the whey from cottage cheese.

2. Transfer the resulting mixture into a small glass bowl.

3. Add a pinch of salt, eggs and two kinds of sugar.

4. Stir with a fork.

5. Moisten your hands with a little oil and roll the mixture into small balls 3-4 cm in diameter.

6. Sprinkle the table with flour, flatten the balls with your hands to make nice small syrnyky or use 2 knives.

7. Heat a non-stick pan with 2 tbsp vegetable oil, add 1 tbsp butter and fry on medium heat. The pan should be well heated. Do not turn down the heat while frying - this will give a perfect crust.

8. Fry the syrnyky on each side for 2-3 minutes. It may take a little more or less time.

9. Transfer to serving plates, add the sauce, seasonal fruit and grated chocolate.
