How to fry syrniki correctly so that they don't burn and keep their shape: sharing a life hack
Syrniki is an elementary dish that everyone knows how to cook, but often they do it wrong, spoiling a delicious dish. There are many reasons for unsuccessful syrniki: liquid cottage cheese, too much sugar, too much flour, too much frying oil.
Food blogger Oksana Pidhaina shared a recipe on Instagram for delicious and, most importantly, successful syrniki that won't burn or fall apart.
Cook's tip: Fry the syrniki in a non-stick frying pan over low heat with a little oil, under a lid, so that the syrniki will be successful and won't fall apart.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 200 g
- egg yolk - 1 pc.
- flour - 2 tbsp. l.
- oil - 1 tbsp.
- sweetener or dried fruit - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Mix cottage cheese with egg yolk, flour and dried fruit or sweetener until smooth.
2. Use your hands to form the syrniki.
3. Heat a non-stick frying pan, add a little oil, and fry the syrniki on both sides, always under the lid.
It is better to serve syrniki hot, with berries, fruit, syrups, sour cream, and condensed milk.
