How to cook liver deliciously

Liver is an essential product in everyone's diet, unless they are allergic to it. According to experts, children and pregnant women should eat liver because it contains a lot of vitamin B12, which is essential for the normal functioning of the nervous system. It also contains a lot of vitamin A (retinol), which is essential for good eyesight and a healthy immune system. It's worth noting that beef liver is a source of copper, which is essential for cell function. However, experts recommend eating chicken liver more often, as it is lighter than, for example, beef and pork liver.

To prevent the liver from becoming bitter, you can soak it in milk, and add apples and onions to soften it. And salt the liver only at the end of cooking.

Cook Olena shared a recipe for soft liver with fried onions on Instagram, which is very quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken liver - 1 kg
  • Onions - 4 pcs.

3. Melt the butter and fry each piece well on both sides until cooked.

4. Finally, season the liver with salt and pepper.

5. Chop the onion, add to the liver, mix, stew a little until the onion is golden and you can serve a delicious liver that will not be bitter.
