How to fry juicy and lean cutlets without oil: an interesting life hack
Classic fried cutlets in a pan are not a good idea for those who are losing weight or following a healthy diet. But there is an interesting life hack that will help you fry juicy and lean cutlets, and you'll need parchment for this.
Food blogger Iryna Lazun (iren.lazun) shared a recipe for pumpkin cutlets on her Instagram page, as well as a life hack to help fry them without oil.
How to fry not greasy and juicy cutlets without oil:
1. Heat a frying pan and cover it with parchment. If desired, you can pour a little water under the parchment.
2. Put the cutlets and cover with parchment.
3. Fry the cutlets on both sides under the lid until cooked.
Cutlets with pumpkin
Ingredients:
- minced chicken (or turkey) – 240 g
- grated raw pumpkin – 300 g
- eggs – 1 pc
- flour – 4-5 tbsp
- onion – 1 pc
- garlic – 3-4 cloves
- salt, pepper, spices
Method of preparation:
1. Chicken fillet, garlic, onion grind in a blender.
2. Pumpkin in raw form grate on a coarse grater.
3. Mix all ingredients and form patties.
4. Fry the cutlets.
