How to fry capelin quickly and tasty without odor: the easiest way

The easiest way to cook capelin fish is to fry it in flour in a pan. To prevent the fish from having a specific flavor, sprinkle it with lemon juice.

The recipe for fried capelin in a pan was published on the Ukrainian Homemade Dishes YouTube channel.

Ingredients:

  • capelin - 500-800 g
  • flour - 100 g
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • pepper - 0.5 tsp.
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. First, prepare the fish: clean it from the insides, head and fins.

2. Lightly sprinkle the fish with salt and pepper and sprinkle with lemon juice. Stir and leave for 5-7 minutes.

3. Mix flour, pepper, salt in a separate bag. Put the fish in the bag. Mix well.

4. Fry the fish in a frying pan. When ready, put it on a paper towel to drain the oil.

5. Serve the fish with greens.
