How to freeze dumplings, ravioli, and cheesecakes so they don't stick together: expert advice
If you don't have time to cook dumplings, cheesecakes, and ravioli every day, it's not a problem, because you can make them once and just freeze them. The most important thing is to know the correct process for freezing such products so as not to spoil them.
Viktoriia Stelmakh, founder of the largest Ukrainian-language Facebook group on complementary foods and baby food expert, told FoodOboz exclusively how to freeze cheesecakes, dumplings, and ravioli.
The best options for freezing:
1. Knead the dough, add all the necessary ingredients, shape the dish, sprinkle flour on a board or baking sheet, and put the products in a single layer, sprinkle with flour, and cover with foil.
4. Put them in the freezer.
5. Do not open the freezer for several hours.
6. After that, take out the frozen dishes and shake off the excess flour.
7. Put them in a ziplock bag or container as soon as possible.
8. Return to the freezer.
"Another acceptable option is to bring the dishes to readiness, cool them, and put them in the freezer no later than 2 hours later. Put it on a baking sheet in a single layer, freeze it, and put it in a bag or container," the expert summarized.
