How to freeze berries properly so that they do not lose their shape, color and vitamins: expert advice
Summer is the best time because everyone can eat healthy, young berries, fruits, vegetables, and herbs every day. Experts recommend eating all these foods fresh, which is the only way to get the most vitamins and minerals from them. All housewives also make delicious jams, jams, and marmalades from berries, and pickle, salt, preserve, and freeze all these products. The important thing is to know how to do this correctly so that all the beneficial properties are preserved.

What to do with berries before freezing
1. Berries need to be washed in a special solution, for example, raspberries – in 1 liter of water, pour in 1 tbsp. l vinegar or 1 tbsp. l salt. Cherries need to be treated with the same solution, but not just washed, but poured for 1-2 hours, then rinsed with water.
How to freeze berries so that they do not lose their shape
1. Disposable plate
Place the berries in a single layer on the plate, cover with another plate and repeat as many layers as you can fit in the freezer.
2. Containers and bags
Put a bag in the container and pour the ready-made berries that were previously frozen, then cover the container with a lid. Then put it in the freezer for 1-3 hours, then take the container and the bag with berries out of the freezer and put the bag in the freezer.
3. Ice cube trays
Put the berries in the ice cube trays, fill with water, and place in the freezer for 1 hour. After that, remove from the molds, transfer to a bag, and put in the freezer.
You can store berries in the freezer for 6 to 12 months.
