How to easily prepare tarragon lemonade at home

Tarhun (terragon lemonade) is a drink that has been known for generations. It is made from special herbs, has an unsaturated greenish color and a fresh, light aroma and taste. It's just what you need in hot weather. Tarhun can be purchased at any store, but the best option is to make it at home. The technology is very simple and the ingredients are only natural, so you can be sure of the quality of the product.

Famous Ukrainian chef Yevhen Klopotenko shared the secrets of cooking tarragon lemonade at home on his official website.

Ingredients:

  • lemon - 2 pcs.
  • water - 200 ml
  • sugar - 100 g
  • tarragon - 40 g
  • slightly carbonated water - 1-1.5 л

Method of preparation:

1. Pour water into a small saucepan.

2. Add sugar and tarragon leaves. Leave some for serving.

3. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4. Remove from heat and beat with a blender.

5. Strain the liquid through a fine sieve.

6. Pour the strained drink into a glass or a jar, add the juice of two lemons (leave a few slices of lemon for serving), and carbonated water.

7. Taste the lemonade. If it is too sweet, you can add a little water.

8. Decorate with lemon slices and fresh tarragon leaves.

9. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
