How to deliciously preserve peppers for the winter with an unusual ingredient: the easiest way
Sweet peppers are an ideal vegetable for making salads, both fresh and canned. It is also stuffed, dried, pickled, and cooked with sauces.
Cook Tamara shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious canned sweet peppers with a sauce that is moderately sweet and flavorful.
Sugar will give the dish an original flavor!
Ingredients:
- Sweet peppers - 2.5 kg
- Water - 200 ml
- Oil - 200 ml
- Vinegar - 100 ml
- Sugar - 300 g
- Salt - 2 tbsp
- Tomato - 230 g
1. Wash the peppers and remove the seeds.
2. Cut it into strips.
3. Sauce: combine water, oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, tomato and mix.
4. Pour the peppers into a saucepan, add the sauce, stir and put on the fire.
5. Bring to a boil and cook for another 30 minutes.
6. Pour the hot peppers into jars and preserve them.
