Cheese is a delicious product, with so many varieties that everyone will definitely find the one they like best. It is also an ideal complement to wines, and the most important thing is to know how to choose the right one.

Cheese expert Oksana Chernova shared on Instagram useful tips on how to prepare a 4-course cheese board correctly and beautifully.

Tips:

1. Start forming a cheese board with less intense cheese, such as Buratta – it is soft and delicate with a milky creamy flavor. It can be placed on a chopped tomato, sprinkled with dried fennel, and drizzled with olive oil and lemon juice.

2. Do not place bread on a cheese board; it belongs on the next board, but not in the same one.

3. The second cheese should be hard and aged. The ideal cheese is Grana Padano. In no case should it be cut finely, but rather broken off. Be sure to serve it with pineapple or orange jam.

4. The third cheese can be made from sheep's milk, for example, Fiero Sardo. It also needs to be broken off, not cut. Use red pepper sauce as an addition to it.

5. Another delicious cheese that is perfect for a cheese board is Gorgonzola, a blue mold cheese. It will be perfectly complemented and revealed by chocolate paste and beetroot chips.

The expert added that if you serve nuts with cheese, you definitely need a sauce. You can also add grapes, honey, and vegetables, such as peppers.
