How to cook zucchini with minced meat to make a dish a favorite among children: a simple recipe
Zucchini with minced meat can be the perfect combination and turn into a complete meal for lunch or dinner. In addition, this way you can interest children who are not very fond of this vegetable in its pure form.
Viktoriia Vorokh, a baby food expert, shared her recipe for delicious zucchini and minced meat rolls for children and adults exclusively with FoodOboz.
Ingredients:
Minced meat – 300 g
Zucchini – 3 small ones
Rice – 100 g
Onion – 1 small one
Carrot – 1 small one
Hard cheese – 150 g
Spices – to taste
Dressing:
Sour cream – 2 tablespoons
Tomato paste – 1 tablespoon
Water – 200-300 ml
Method of preparation:
1. The first thing to do is cook the rice. Lightly fry the onions and carrots. Add to the minced meat when the vegetables are cool.
2. Next, add the rice, cooked and cold, and your favorite spices to taste (it tastes good with granulated garlic and a little oregano).
3. Cut the zucchini into thin slices (life hack – the easiest way to do this is with a vegetable peeler).
4. Put the filling on the zucchini slices, about a teaspoon each. Roll it up tightly. Put the rolls into the mold tightly.
5. Mix all the ingredients for the filling. Pour it over the zucchini. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
6. Cover the baking dish with foil. Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
7. Remove the foil and bake until the cheese is golden brown.
