How to cook zrazy with any filling: recipe for the perfect potato dough

If you like potatoes, you can make not only mashed potatoes, roasts, soups and salads but also buns, donuts, pancakes, pies, casseroles and even cutlets. Another delicious potato dish that every housewife knows how to make is zrazy, which can be made with various delicious fillings.

Cook Victoria (v.vanilinka) shared a recipe for delicious, golden zrazy, which will be very satisfying, on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • potatoes - 8-10 pcs.
  • flour - 4-6 tbsp.
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • butter - 20 g
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • oil for frying - 2 tbsp.

The filling can be different, for example:

  • pre-fried minced meat
  • boiled and chopped meat with fried onions
  • minced meat from stewed offal
  • minced meat from pre-boiled fish
  • canned tuna, egg and herbs
  • stewed cabbage
  • stewed mushrooms with onions and carrots
  • salted cheese with herbs
  • eggs with green onions
  • fried onions with carrots
  • buckwheat with herbs

Method of preparation:

1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Mash them, add butter, mix and leave to cool.

2. Prepare any filling.

3. Add the eggs and flour to the mashed potatoes and mix well. The mass will stick to your hands, so you should constantly dip your hands in flour.

4. Form the zrazy with your hands, press it down with your hand, put the filling in the middle, wrap it up, pinch the edges and shape it, and roll it in flour.

5. Fry the zrazy until golden brown.

Serve with sour cream!
