How to cook young potatoes with crispy crust: an interesting idea from Jamie Oliver

Young potatoes are a tasty and healthy vegetable that can be cooked in many ways, including baking with garlic and herbs, boiling with butter, frying, and making flavorful and tender casseroles.

Chef Jamie Oliver shared a recipe for delicious, crispy potatoes with flavorful garlic on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • potatoes - 1 kg
  • garlic - 5 cloves.
  • olive oil - 5 tbsp.
  • rosemary - 1 sprig
  • sea salt - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Wash the potatoes and peel them.

2. Bring the water to a boil, add salt, and cook the potatoes until tender.

3. Drain and let the potatoes dry slightly.

4. Pour the olive oil into the bottom of the baking dish. Put the potatoes in it and sprinkle them with salt.

5. Bake at 180 C for 30 minutes until golden brown.

6. Take out the cooked potatoes, press them well and top them with rosemary, garlic and a drizzle of olive oil and put them back for another 10 minutes.
