How to cook the most delicious lard gravy for young potatoes
Young potatoes is one of the most delicious side dishes. They are great with various salads, fish, meat, and especially with gravy.
Food blogger Maryna Novikova (marisha_recepti) shared a recipe for lard gravy for young potatoes on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- lard
- onion
- 10-20% cream
- greens (dill is best)
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the lard and fry it until golden brown.
2. Chop the onion and add to the lard. Fry until the onions are soft.
3. Add cream and bring to a boil.
4. Chop the greens and add them at the end of cooking.
