How to cook tender and juicy crumble: an alternative to grated pie
If you love grated pie, you will definitely like this recipe. It's a simple berry crumble. The dessert is based on a delicate dough, juicy filling and light shortbread crumbs.
Food blogger Olha Romanchuk (olya_romanchyk_) shared a recipe for a berry crumble on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- eggs - 3 pcs.
- sugar - 1 cup
- milk - 1 cup
- vegetable oil - 1/2 cup
- flour - 2-2.5 cups
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp.
- vanilla
- salt
- frozen berries/fruits
Crumble:
- melted butter - 100 g
- flour - 1 cup
- sugar - 1.5 cups
Method of preparation:
1. Add sugar and salt to the eggs. Beat with a mixer until fluffy foam.
2. Add milk, oil, baking powder and flour. Stir to avoid lumps.
3. Pour the dough into a parchment-lined baking dish. Add frozen berries or fruit.
4. Then mix flour, butter and sugar. Grind until crumbs. Sprinkle them over the cake.
5. Bake at 180 °C for 30-40 minutes.
