Even if the finished syrnyky have a golden crust on top, they may still be quite moist or even soggy inside. Therefore, after frying, they should be baked. And to make the texture tender and juicy, you need to pour sour cream sauce over.

The idea of making puffy syrnyky with sour cream sauce was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Olena with the nickname cooking__by__elena.

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese - 600 g
  • sugar - 3 tbsp
  • vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
  • egg yolks - 2 pcs
  • semolina - 3-4 tbsp

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 15% sour cream - 350 g
  • eggs - 1 pc
  • sugar - 50 g
  • vanilla sugar - 1 tsp

Cooking method:

1. Put the cottage cheese in a bowl, add sugar and vanilla sugar, a little semolina and egg yolks. Mix and let stand for 10 minutes.

2. Then roll the balls in flour and form the syrnyky using a glass.

3. Fry in a pan until golden brown.

4. For the filling, mix sour cream with sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg.

5. Pour the sauce into a mold, put the cottage cheese pancakes in and bake at 170 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
