How to cook steamed fluffy dumplings cherries: a recipe for a successful dough

As soon as the cherry season begins, you immediately want to treat yourself and your family to something delicious. And what could be even better than dumplings? You don't have to bother with them at all, because you just need to make the right dough. Water, milk, or kefir – the choice is yours. But there's one caveat: the dumplings with cherries are so delicious that they disappear from the table in minutes.

On his culinary website, celebrity chef Yevgeny Klopotenko shared a recipe for fluffy dumplings with cherries that can be steamed.

Ingredients:

  • flour - 300 g
  • kefir - 200 ml
  • sugar - 0.5 tbsp
  • salt - 0.5 tsp.
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • cherries - 300 g
  • semolina - 1 tbsp
  • vanilla sugar - 1 p
  • sour cream for serving

Method of preparation:

1. Mix the sifted flour with salt, sugar, and baking powder.

2. Pour in the kefir and knead the dough. Wrap in cling film and leave for 20 minutes.

3. Meanwhile, put the cherries in a sieve and let the excess liquid drain. Mix the cherries with semolina and vanilla sugar.

4. Form the dough into a small cake. Fill with the filling and form a dumpling.

5. Cook the dumplings in a double boiler for 20 minutes.

6. Serve with sour cream.
