How to cook "Seven Spoons" cherry pie: minimum calories and ingredients

The "Seven Spoons" cherry pie got its name because the dough contains only seven spoons of flour. This is the main feature of the pastry because it is not so high in calories. It also requires fewer ingredients, and you'll find everything you need in your fridge.

Food blogger Viktoriia Kelbas (kelbas_v) shared a recipe for "Seven Spoons" cherry pie on her Instagram page.

Ingredients:

  • eggs – 4 pcs
  • sugar – 2/3 cup
  • vanilla sugar – 1 p
  • baking soda – 1 tsp
  • vinegar – 1 tbsp
  • flour – 7 tbsp
  • pitted cherries

Method of preparation:

1. Separate the whites from the yolks in the eggs. Add a pinch of salt or 1 tsp of vinegar to the whites and beat until stiff peaks form.

2. Add sugar or vanilla sugar to the yolks. Grind until light.

3. Add baking soda slaked with vinegar to the yolks.

4. Add the flour.

5. Pour in the egg whites. Mix the dough with a spatula until smooth.

6. Grease the mold with vegetable oil. Put the cherries on the bottom.

7. Pour in the dough. Bake at 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
