If you like sausages, it is best to make them from fillets, adding onions, spices, and beet juice. This is the only way to be sure of their safety.

Nutritionist Svitlana Fus shared a recipe for delicious and safe homemade fillet sausages on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken fillet or ready-made minced meat – 500 g
  • Onion – 1 piece of medium size
  • Egg – 1 pc
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Mustard seeds – optional
  • Spices – choose without salt and sugar in the composition
  • Milk – 50-100 ml
  • Butter – 30 g
  • Beet juice

How to cook:

1. Cut the chicken into cubes and place in a blender bowl. Add the egg, onion, garlic, oil, and beet juice. Blend until smooth. Start adding salt, pepper, milk, and other spices to the mixture. Add mustard seeds if desired.

2. Put the mixture in a pastry bag or simply spoon it into sausages on plastic wrap. Wrap and tie each sausage individually.

3. Boil the sausages in boiling water for 15 minutes. If desired, you can fry the finished sausages a little in a dry frying pan.
