How to cook rice so that even children will love it: an alternative to cottage cheese casserole
Milky rice porridge can be delicious, you just need to cook it properly and add a few ingredients to spice it up.
For your children to enjoy it, you should choose round rice and add dried fruit or nuts. The recipe for milk porridge was posted on her Instagram page by food blogger Oksana Pidhaina.
Ingredients:
- rice - 50 g
- milk - 200-220 ml
- butter - 5-10 g
- coconut flakes, nut crumbs, or your favorite dried fruit.
Method of preparation:
- Rinse the rice well, add milk, and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally.
- For older children, you can add a little salt and sugar. For younger ones, washed raisins or other dried fruits are ideal.
- At the end, add butter and leave the porridge for 10-20 minutes.
- When it's ready to serve, you can add coconut flakes or nut crumbs – it's delicious and healthy.
