If you've had your fill of boiled, fried, or baked potatoes, it's time to try something new. Potato cheesecakes with cottage cheese and hard cheese are nothing short of a masterpiece made with mashed potatoes and cottage cheese. The resulting dough is used to form small rectangular sticks in which to wrap hard cheese.

The recipe for potato cheesecakes with cottage cheese was shared by food blogger Oleksii Kruchkov (kruchkov_) on TikTok.

Ingredients:

  • potatoes – 297 g
  • cottage cheese – 200 g
  • eggs – 1 pc
  • flour – 80 g
  • salt – 1/2 tsp
  • dried garlic – 1/2 tsp
  • hard cheese

Method of preparation:

1. Peel and boil the potatoes. Mash in mashed potatoes.

2. Mix cottage cheese, egg, salt and garlic separately.

3. Mix the curd mass with mashed potatoes.

4. Sift the flour and knead the dough.

5. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts and form a ball from each.

6. Wrap a piece of hard cheese in each ball and form rectangular sticks.

7. Fry on both sides.
