How to cook pizza muffins: recipe for yeast-free dough
Pizza muffins are a great way to cook a popular Italian dish in an unusual way and make your family happy with something tasty and interesting at the same time. This dish is distinguished from classic pizza only by its original presentation. A lot of toppings and the flavor of the sauce remain unchanged.
Food blogger Anna Stankevych (anny.cooking) shared how to make pizza muffins on her Instagram page.
Ingredients for 12 muffins:
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- vegetable oil - 5 tbsp
- tomato paste - 1 tbsp
- kefir - 200 ml
- flour - 250 g
- soda - 3 g
- baking powder - 5 g
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/3 tsp.
Toppings:
- hard cheese - 100 g
- bell pepper - 1/2 pcs
- ham/sausage - 100 g
Spices: Italian herbs, oregano, paprika, granulated garlic.
Method of preparation:
1. Mix eggs, salt, sugar, spices, kefir, tomato paste and oil until smooth. Add spices.
2. Add sifted flour, baking soda and baking powder. Knead the dough.
3. Prepare the filling: chop the ham and pepper, grate the cheese (leave a little). Add everything to the dough.
4. Put the dough into the molds.
5. Sprinkle with cheese on top.
6. Bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
