How to cook perfect burgers: tips from Yevhen Klopotenko
Who doesn't love a delicious, juicy burger, especially one with a tasty cutlet, sauces, and vegetables? But not everyone knows how to cook them, or rather, only a few do, but it's never too late to learn.
On his YouTube channel, chef Yevhen Klopotenko has revealed the secrets of making homemade burgers and delicious cutlets and shared a very simple recipe that will help you surprise your guests with a delicious treat (to watch the video, scroll to the end).
To begin with, let's clarify what is the main thing in burgers – a bun or a cutlet. The chef says that these two ingredients are equally important because they are the main ones and the taste of the dish depends on them.
How to cook a delicious burger cutlet
"First, of course, you need to choose good fresh meat. You can make the minced meat yourself or buy it from reliable suppliers. Secondly, you need to beat it off a little before you form the patties. Then the minced meat will be more homogeneous and the cutlets will be more tender as a result," said Yevhen Klopotenko.
The chef also added that you shouldn't make the patties too thick, and named the most important process after shaping.
"Do not form cutlets too thick, about 1 cm thick. But the most important thing is to put the cutlets in the freezer for a few hours after forming. Then the patties will be incredibly juicy and will not disintegrate during frying," the chef advised.
