Ingredients:

  • Home-made chicken - 2 thighs or something else for the broth
  • Peas - 500 g
  • Carrots - 1 pc.
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Potatoes - 4-5 pcs.
  • Smoked ribs - 5-7 pcs.
  • Salt, pepper, bay leaf, smoked paprika, garlic cloves

For the breadcrumbs:

  • White bread
  • Butter
  • Garlic
  • Smoked paprika

Method of preparation:

1. Soak the peas overnight in water, add 1 tablespoon of baking soda, so they will boil very quickly.

2. Cook the broth: add the chicken to cold water and cook for about 1.5 hours. Remove the foam if necessary.

3. Take out the chicken and add the soaked and rinsed peas. Cook for 40 minutes. During this time, prepare the vegetables and fry them.

4. Fry: dice the onion, grate and fry the carrots. Dice the potatoes.

5. Add all the vegetables and ribs to the peas and cook for 20 minutes. Then add spices to taste and add the disassembled chicken, cook for another 10-20 minutes.
