How to cook new potatoes quickly and easily: a simple method from the Armed Forces of Ukraine
New potatoes are a vegetable that millions of cooks look forward to every spring. It has a special flavor and symbolizes the onset of the warm season. No one would refuse to taste the extremely tasty, fragrant and juicy new potatoes in any form.
A Ukrainian Armed Forces chef with the call sign "Viking" on the YouTube channel of the 141st Infantry Brigade showed how he cooks this vegetable for his comrades. It turns out that even in the field, new potatoes can be cooked as well as in the best restaurants.
Ingredients
- New potatoes - 2 kg
- Butter - 120 gr
- Dill - 50 gr
- Salt - to taste
- Water - if necessary
Method of preparation
1. Wash the potatoes from the dirt and put them in a cauldron.
2. Pour cold potato water over the vegetable, add salt and cook until tender.
3. Drain the potatoes and add the chopped herbs.
4. Stir gently to preserve the integrity of the potatoes.
