How to cook mushrooms deliciously

In Ukraine, the summer mushroom season has unexpectedly started due to regular rains that have been falling for about three weeks. And this is a big plus for mushroom lovers, because they can be used to make many delicious dishes, preserve them, and simply fry them, but you should only eat safe mushrooms that you know well.

1. Baked mushrooms with sour cream

Ingredients:

  • Fresh mushrooms - 800 g
  • Onions - 1-2 pcs.
  • Sour cream - 200 g
  • Parsley - 1 bunch
  • Oil - 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt, pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the mushrooms well, and cut them.
  2. Chop the onion with parsley.
  3. Pour the oil into a well-heated frying pan, put the mushrooms and onions, and fry until tender.
  4. At the end, add sour cream, salt and pepper.

Sprinkle with parsley before serving.

2. Mushroom soup with melted cheese

Ingredients:

  • water - 2.5 liters
  • mushrooms - 200 g
  • potatoes - 4-5 pcs.
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • processed cheese - 2 pcs.
  • vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp.
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • bay leaf - 1-2 pcs.

Method of preparation:

  1. Cut the potatoes and mushrooms into cubes, and throw them into the water.
  2. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, chop the onion, and fry everything in vegetable oil.
  3. When the potatoes and mushrooms are cooked, add the roast.
  4. Processed cheese can be cut or grated, put in the soup, season with salt and pepper, and add a bay leaf.

The soup is best eaten hot.

3. Mushroom pie

Ingredients:

  • Flour - 1 cup
  • Baking powder - 1.5 tsp.
  • Mushrooms - 500 g
  • Onions - 2 pcs.
  • Eggs - 3 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise - 50 g
  • Sour cream - 50 g
  • Butter - 20 g
  • Salt, pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the mushrooms, cut them into cubes along with the onion, put them in a frying pan, and fry until tender.
  2. Mix eggs with sour cream and mayonnaise, add flour, salt, and baking powder, and mix well.
  3. Grease the mold, pour out some of the dough, put the mushroom filling, and pour the rest of the dough on top.
  4. Bake the cake for 20-25 minutes at 180 C.
