How to cook mackerel if you're tired of stuffed mackerel: expert advice
Mackerel is cooked in a variety of ways, and most often stuffed. But to make the fish really special and surprise you with a new taste, you can marinate it. The right combination of simple products will make this fish really tasty, and all the nutrients will be preserved.
Nutritionist Olena Yudina shared the idea of cooking delicious mackerel in marinade on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- mackerel - 2 pcs.
It can also be herring, herring and any other favorite fatty fish;
- horseradish (spicy mustard, horseradish with beets) - 2 tsp.
- French Dijon mustard - 4 tsp.
- salt - 1 tsp.
- honey (sugar) - 2 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the mackerel, dry it with a paper towel and cut into portions.
2. Add all the ingredients to the fish.
3. Mix well. Cover and leave to marinate for 2 days.
The nutritionist notes that this fish is very healthy, it can be served on a festive table and cooked for lunch or dinner.
