Ingredients:

  • Chicken meat - 240 g
  • Red lentils - 120 g
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Carrot - 1 pc.
  • Bell pepper - 1 pc.
  • Tomatoes - 3 pcs.
  • Salt/pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Cut onions, tomatoes, and peppers. Grate the carrots. Put them in a frying pan.
  2. When the vegetables are slightly soft, add the meat and lentils. Pour over the water. Simmer for 15 minutes until tender.
  3. Pour the mixture into a blender and blend.

Lentil and cabbage soup

Ingredients:

  • Meat - 300 g.
  • Potatoes - 3 pcs.
  • Red lentils - 50 g
  • Cabbage - 200 g
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Carrot - 1 pc.
  • Bell pepper - 1 pc.
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Spices - to taste
  • Greens - to taste
  • Sunflower oil - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

  1. Cut the meat into small pieces. Put it in a thick-bottomed saucepan, add oil, and a little salt. Cook in its own juice under a closed lid until tender, periodically adding a little water to prevent it from burning.
  2. Finely chop the onions, carrots, peppers, and garlic.
  3. When the liquid boils in the pot with the meat, add the vegetables, stir, and cook for about 2 minutes.
  4. Add diced potatoes and pre-washed red lentils.
  5. Pour boiling water (1.5 liters), cook over low heat under a closed lid until the potatoes are almost ready.
  6. Chop the cabbage randomly, and add to the pot 5 minutes before the potatoes are ready. Cook for about 5-7 minutes. Season with your favorite spices, add salt if necessary.
  7. Add herbs and let it brew for a while.
