How to cook herring in sour cream: tastes great with sandwiches

Herring with onions and potatoes is a combination loved by many. But if all these products were on different plates, now they will be on the same sandwich. To do this, chop the herring and combine it with sour cream. Also, add a few more ingredients for flavor. The fish is very tender, juicy and satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • herring fillet - 2 pcs.
  • red onion - 0.5 pcs
  • pickled cucumber - 2 pcs
  • apple - 1 pc
  • sour cream - 50 g
  • vinegar or lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt, pepper

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the fillet into small pieces.

2. Drizzle with vinegar (or lemon juice), add the onion, diced cucumber and grated apple.

3. Mix well, add sour cream, salt, pepper, and sugar.

4. Put in a jar and marinate for at least 4 hours.

5. Serve with toast (a loaf of bread roasted in a dry frying pan). Add fries and parsley on top.
