How to cook hearty potato pie with tomato sauce for lunch

Chef Yevhen Klopotenko shared a recipe for a delicious potato pie, which will be an ideal option for a hearty lunch, on his website.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 1 kg
- corn flour - 4 tbsp
- wheat flour - 4 tbsp
- eggs - 3 pcs
- cream - 150 ml
- thyme - 5 sprigs
- butter - 200 g
Tomato sauce:
- garlic - 3-5 cloves
- chili pepper - 1/2 tsp
- smoked paprika - 1 tsp
- paprika flakes - 1 tsp
- lemon - 1 pc
- sugar - 1 tbsp
- tomato paste - 2-3 tbsp
- water - 100 ml
- salt and pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Peel 1 kg of potatoes and grate them on a coarse grater.
2. After that, put them in a deep bowl. Do not squeeze them to make the pie juicy.
3. Add salt and pepper to taste, pour in 150 ml of 33% cream, add 3 eggs, 4 tbsp of corn flour and 4 tbsp of wheat flour.
4. Take a ceramic pie dish and grease it with butter and sprinkle with corn flour.
5. Put the potato mixture into the mold, smooth it with a spoon, then put the chopped butter on top and sprinkle with thyme.
6. Bake at 180 C for 35-40 minutes.
7. Put the tomato paste, finely chopped 3-5 cloves of garlic, chili pepper, smoked sweet paprika, and paprika flakes into a saucepan.
8. Pour in the water, add the sugar, lemon juice and zest, mix well and evaporate the liquid over medium heat until it thickens. This will take about 5 minutes.
9. Take the pie out of the oven and let it cool without removing from the mold. Then remove, cut, and pour the sauce over.
