Cooking green beans is an extremely simple process. This vegetable is often used in soups, fried, baked, and stewed. Green bean dishes are low in calories and dietary, so they are ideal for those who are on a diet or follow a healthy diet.

Ingredients:

  • green beans - 500 g
  • carrot - 1 pc.
  • tomato - 2 pcs.
  • sour cream - 200 g
  • garlic, spices
How to boil green beans correctly

Method of preparation:

1. Wash beans, remove the stem, and cut them in half. Boil in salted water until half cooked. It takes about 10 minutes.

2. Grate carrots and fry lightly.

3. Cut tomatoes into cubes (blanch the vegetable beforehand) and add to the carrots.

4. Add the drained beans and garlic chopped through a press. Simmer for 10 minutes.

5. Add sour cream and spices. Stew for 2-3 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • beans - 1 kg
  • water - 3 liters
  • salt - 1.5 tsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • butter - 120 g
  • breadcrumbs - 50 g
  • dill - a bunch

Method of preparation:

1. Wash beans, cut off the ends on both sides, and cut into 2-3 pieces. Cook the beans in boiling water with sugar and salt for about 25 minutes.

2. Drain and rinse the beans with cold water.

3. Melt butter in a frying pan. Add breadcrumbs and fry until golden brown.

What to add to green beans

4. Add the beans to the breadcrumbs. Stew for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt.

5. Add chopped dill at the end of cooking.
