How to cook frozen dumplings deliciously: an original recipe
One of the easiest and fastest dishes you can always eat is dumplings. If you have some in the freezer, but boiling them is too easy for you, you should try something new. Namely, bake the dumplings in the oven and serve them with a delicious sauce.
Chef Vasyl Mishlen shared a recipe for baked dumplings in sour cream sauce on his Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- frozen dumplings – 400 g
- olive oil – 25 ml
- sweet paprika – 1 tsp
Sauce:
- sour cream – 200 ml
- processed cheese – 1 pc
- salt – 0.5 tsp
- a mixture of peppers – 0.5 tsp
- dill – 1 bunch
- pickled hot peppers – 1 pc
Method of preparation:
1. Drizzle frozen dumplings with vegetable oil and sprinkle with paprika.
2. Mix everything thoroughly and pour into a baking dish covered with parchment. Bake in the oven for about 20-30 minutes until tender.
3. Separately, mix sour cream, cottage cheese, salt and pepper mixture. Beat with a blender.
4. Chop the dill and chop the pepper. Add to the sour cream mixture.
5. Put the sauce on a flat plate and top with the cooked dumplings.
