How to cook delicious pork ribs in cherry sauce: secrets from Tetiana Lytvynova
Pork ribs are a great product for preparing delicious and satisfying dishes. They can be cooked with various sauces, fried, baked, boiled, and added to soups.
On her YouTube channel, chef Tetiana Lytvynova shared a recipe for delicious pork ribs in sweet and sour cherry sauce, which will be the best treat for the holiday table (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).
Tips from the chef:
- To make the ribs not too fatty, you need to boil them with a head of garlic and one onion. Make small cuts on them.

- do not cut off the fat from the meat
- to make the meat tasty, put it immediately in boiling water
- fry the boiled ribs in a dry frying pan
Ingredients:
- Pork ribs - 1 kg
- Water - 1.5 liters
- Garlic - 1 head
- Mixture of peppers - 1 tsp.
- Onions - 1 pc.
Sauce:
- Cherries - 400 g
- Soy sauce - 70 ml
- Honey - 2-3 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. For the broth: pour water into a saucepan, add a head of garlic, one onion, a mixture of peppers, bay leaf, and salt.
2. Cut the ribs and add them to the boiling broth, cover, and cook for about 20 minutes, but do not let them boil too much.
3. Put the ribs on a napkin to absorb excess water and fat.
4. Put them in a dry frying pan and fry on both sides until golden brown.
5. Add the cherries with the juice, soy sauce and honey. Stir the ribs periodically to make sure they are well-soaked.
6. Cook the dish until the sauce thickens.
Serve the ribs immediately hot, so they will be the most delicious and thanks to the sweet and sour sauce, their taste will be fully revealed.
