How to cook delicious chebureks on water: an elementary recipe for the perfect dough

Chebureks are not a healthy but tasty dish, based on dough and, as a rule, meat filling. They are cooked with a lot of oil. You can also make lean pasties, as well as with cabbage and even pita bread.

Cook Liza Hlinska shared a recipe for delicious pasties made from dough on water on Instagram, which you can make very easily at home.

Ingredients:

  • flour - 500 g
  • salt - 10 g
  • boiling water - 250 ml
  • vodka - 20 ml
  • vegetable oil - 30 ml

Method of preparation:

1. Dissolve the salt in boiling water.

2. Sift the flour and pour it into a bowl, make a small depression in the center, pour in the oil, boiling water, and vodka, mix thoroughly with a fork, then knead the dough.

3. Then wrap the dough in plastic wrap and leave it for 30 minutes.

4. Knead the dough again until it is smooth. Then wrap it in cling film again and leave it at room temperature for another 30 minutes.

5. After that, take a small piece of dough, sprinkle it with flour, and roll it out as round as possible.

6. Put the filling and secure the edges with your fingers, then with a fork.

7. Fry them in a large amount of heated oil on both sides.

This dough can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
