- Any cottage cheese should always be squeezed out of excess moisture. This should be done through a waffle towel or cheesecloth. Otherwise, the product will leak.
- For the cottage cheese pancakes to keep their shape, do not knead the cottage cheese for a long time.
Ingredients for 2 servings:
- cottage cheese - 300 g
- egg yolk - 1 pc.
- sugar - 20 g
- flour - 25 g
- cinnamon
For the sauce:
- orange - 1.5 pcs.
- sugar - 1.5 tbsp
- rum
Method of preparation:
1. Using a fork, mix the cottage cheese, egg yolk and sugar.
2. Add flour and mix.
3. Form the sausage, cut it into portions with a knife and form cottage cheese pancakes .
4. Fry until golden brown.
5. Prepare the sauce. To do this, zest the orange and cut it thinly. Peel and cut into slices.
6. Squeeze the juice from the trimmings and the other half of the orange.
7. Heat the juice with sugar and zest in a frying pan.
8. Put the cottage cheese pancakes, bring the sauce to a boil and let it thicken.
9. You can also heat orange slices in the sauce.
