How to cook Chiken Kyiv in a new way: you will need minced meat
Chiken Kyiv are a very tasty and satisfying dish traditionally made from chicken fillet, stuffed with butter and herbs, and always with crispy breading.
Food blogger Victoria with the nickname vika_viktoriaaa shared a recipe for Chiken Kyiv cutlets on her Instagram page, which can be prepared quickly from minced meat.
Ingredients for 10 cutlets:
- minced chicken - 1 kg
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1\3 tsp.
- butter - 200 g
- salt - 1\3 tsp.
- dill
- garlic - 2-3 cloves
For the breading:
- eggs - 5-6 pcs.
- breadcrumbs - 1 p
- flour
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the dill and chop the garlic. Mix the ingredients with oil and salt. Form 10 small oval-shaped pieces from the resulting mass and put them in the freezer to freeze slightly.
2. Add salt and pepper to the minced meat. Mix well.
3. With wet hands, form patties, wrapping each one in a butter oval.
4. Mix eggs for breading, prepare breadcrumbs and flour separately.
5. Dip the cutlets in flour, egg, breadcrumbs, egg and breadcrumbs again.
6. Fry the cutlets over low heat.
