How to cook chickpeas deliciously and properly: you only need spices
Chickpeas are a very useful and popular product in recent years. You can make many dishes from it: hummus, cutlets, salads, and snacks. In addition, chickpeas can be deliciously baked with spices in the oven. The main thing is to soak and cook the legumes beforehand.
Food blogger Yulia, zefirok_for_you, shared a recipe for baked chickpeas with spices on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- chickpeas – 200 g
- vegetable oil – 1 tbsp.
- smoked paprika – 1 tsp.
- salt – 1 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Soak the chickpeas in cold water overnight.
2. In the morning, rinse the chickpeas, cover them with water, and put them on fire. Cook for 20 minutes. After cooking, put the chickpeas on a towel to absorb the moisture completely.
3. Then put the chickpeas on a plate. Add the oil and spices. Stir to combine.
4. Put the chickpeas on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Bake for 40 minutes at 200 degrees.
