A simple recipe for chicken liver salad

If you have leftover chicken liver and don't know what to do with it, make an original warm salad. It turns out to be very light, dietary, but at the same time satisfying. This truly restaurant-like dish will be a great addition to your celebration or gourmet dinner.

Chef Valery Ponomar (ponomar_valeriy) shared the recipe for a warm chicken liver salad on his Instagram page.

Ingredients:

  • chicken liver - 250 g
  • corn starch - 1.5 tbsp
  • soy sauce - 2 tbsp
  • honey - 1 tsp
  • lettuce leaves - a handful
  • orange - 1 pc
  • pine nuts - 1 tsp

Ingredients for the dressing:

  • orange juice - 1 tbsp.
  • lemon juice -1/2 tbsp
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • grain mustard - 1/3 tbsp
  • black pepper
  • honey 1/2 tsp

Method of preparation:

1. Roll the liver in starch and fry with soy sauce and honey for about 6-8 minutes after peeling and rinsing it under cold water.

2. Peel the orange.

3. Chop and combine with lettuce leaves.

4. Put the liver on top.

5. Prepare the dressing: squeeze the orange juice and lemon juice.

6. Add olive oil.

7. Add mustard, honey, salt and pepper.

8. Mix everything well and season the salad.

9. Sprinkle with nuts on top.
