Ordinary buckwheat, which everyone often serves as a side dish, can be turned into a complete meal. And you don't have to boil anything, because a simple frying pan will do. The porridge will be very satisfying.

The idea of cooking delicious buckwheat in a skillet is published on the Instagram page of food blogger muj_na_kuhne. Add lots of mushrooms and cheese.

Ingredients:

  • buckwheat - 1 cup
  • onion
  • mushrooms - 6-7 pcs.
  • water - 2 cups
  • cream - 150 ml.
  • cheese - 100 g
  • butter - 30-40
  • salt, pepper, spices

Method of preparation:

1. Fry the onion for a few minutes.

2. Add the mushrooms and fry for another 5-7 minutes.

3. Pour in a glass of washed buckwheat.

4. Add spices and cover with water.

5. Stir and cover with a lid.

6. Simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes (until the buckwheat is tender).

7. Then pour the cream and mix.

8. Sprinkle with cheese and cook under the lid for 3-5 minutes (until the cheese is melted).

9. Stir.
