Buckwheat is one of the simplest and tastiest cereals, which contains a lot of essential vitamins and minerals, and has an antioxidant effect, according to experts, buckwheat helps cleanse the body of harmful substances. It is also an ideal product for those who are on a diet, as buckwheat gives a boost of energy for several hours and is low in calories.

Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko has shared on his website tips on how to cook buckwheat deliciously, as well as advice on how to cook it without boiling.

Tip: To avoid boiling buckwheat, you can simply pour boiling water over it and leave it for 20-30 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • buckwheat – 100 g
  • hot water – 200 ml
  • olives – 10 pcs
  • feta cheese – 100 g
  • egg – 1 pc
  • parsley or any other herbs – 10 sprigs
  • oregano – 1/2 tsp
  • olive oil – 2-3 tbsp
  • salt, pepper – to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Wash and chop the parsley.

2. Pour the buckwheat into a small saucepan or saucepan, cover with boiling water, cover and set aside for 20 minutes.

3. Boil a poached egg.

4. Assemble the dish: put the buckwheat in a bowl, crumble the cheese and put it on one side of the plate, on the other – greens and chopped olives. Season with oregano and lay the poached egg.
